Question: What constitutes a sport? why is poker, darts, bowling etc. sports?

Poker, darts, bowling, video gaming, figure skating, list goes on and on... where does it end? what is the line? What makes something a sport? Is it fair that some fat poker player is at all associated with an athlete?

They do have thing in common like sportsmanship--team building. Some folks gamble. They have sports centers and arenas. Some of what is listed needs to be well thought out while the other comes out as a form of exercise.

I would say that anything that can be athletic counts as a sport. That would be bowling and figure skating. Darts isn't really athletic but I suppose you do need physical conditioning to play at high levels. I don't know much about poker, but video gaming is definitely not athletic.
