Question: Poker and nascar are not sports!!?

WHY is poker on the sport channel?! Are there hardcore pooker fans out there who just can't wait to watch other people lose or make money?! Rah! ANd Nascar is no better! It's just driving very fast in a car covered in advertisements! IT's like watching an extra long commercial! Do you agree or disagree with me?

Yes and no. I agree about poker, to me its just as much luck than anything else. I can start playing on TV tomorrow and start winning if I get the right cards. However, I could practice for ten years straight and never beat a Jeff Gordon or Dale Jr. I find it boring but I do think that Nascar is a sport.

Keep in mind that ESPN calls poker a sport. The actual poker players call it poker.also. nascar is not just a really long commercial. those driver's have to sit in a kevlar suit, inside a 110 degree car for hours on end enduring 2-3 gravitational G's the whole time. point out one nascar driver that weighs more than 170 pounds. it might not be a sport by definition but do not assume that it is not physically demanding

BS , poker is a game of skill , if some one thinks he can go to TV play with the poker pros and win cause he gets some cards , he didn't played one poker hand in is life !!! I DISAGREE with you poker is the best game ever !
